20th Annual Commodity Classic Featured Expanded Education and Trade Show

March 2, 2015

With heavy emphasis on producer education and an expanded trade show of exhibitors, the 20th Annual Commodity Classic was held in Phoenix, February 25-28. This annual event is sponsored jointly by the American Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Association of Wheat Growers and the National Sorghum Producers.

Paulsen representatives Sara Steever, president, and Greg Guse, executive vice president, attended Commodity Classic. Both were impressed with the quality of the learning sessions and expansion of the trade show.

“The meeting agenda was chock-full of learning sessions with emphasis on what’s new for producers,” said Steever. “The depth and quality of the information presented was very impressive. Producers had to come away from this year’s Classic very well-prepared for the new growing season.”

Guse added, “There was a pretty obvious increase in the number of exhibitors this year. The trade show featured a broad range of agricultural products and services. The exhibitors I visited with were very pleased with the size of the crowd and the high level of interest from farmers attending the show.”

The 2016 Commodity Classic will be held in New Orleans, March 3-5.
