Central Plains Dairy Expo Continues to Grow

April 4, 2016

The 2016 Central Plains Dairy Expo was held in Sioux Falls March 29-31. Paulsen clients Soy Best (Grain States Soya), Hubbard Feeds and AgStar Financial Services were among nearly 400 companies serving the dairy industry that exhibited at the two-day trade show.

Paulsen staffers Danita Tegethoff and Greg Guse attended the trade show to see what’s new in the dairy industry.

“We were surprised to see how much this show has grown both in exhibitors and the number of dairy producers attending,” said Danita. “The growth and expansion of this event in just three years is impressive.”

Randy Ortmeier, merchandising manager for Soy Best® High Bypass Soybean Meal, was very pleased with the large number of producers he visited with during the trade show.

“The Central Plains Dairy Expo is becoming one of the premier shows in the dairy industry—right up there with the World Dairy Expo in Madison and the World Ag Expo in Tulare,” he said. “I have visited with dairy producers from five or six states, some traveling a thousand miles or more to be here. It’s an event producers now include on their list of shows worth their investment to attend.”

The 2017 Central Plains Dairy Expo will again be held in Sioux Falls, March 28-30.
