Field Day at Otter Creek

August 20, 2015

A few members of the Paulsen team had the opportunity to attend Midwestern BioAg’s 2015 Field Day. The annual event was held at the Otter Creek Farm in Avoca, Wisconsin, and focused on bringing producers and consultants together to discuss hot button topics in agriculture.

Many of the sessions focused on improving soil health. This topic, along with soil management, has become increasingly important in agriculture.

Soil health has also caught the attention of the United Nations, which this year introduced a new initiative: The International Year of Soils. Many of the key points the United Nations promote are practices that the Midwestern BioAg team has championed for years.
