Paulsen Crew Attends NAMA 2015

April 20, 2015

The National Agri-Marketing Association’s (NAMA) Spring 2015 Conference was jam-packed with activities for Paulsen staff, from Tuesday’s ABEF golf outing through Friday’s closing session brunch.

Sara Steever, president at Paulsen, attended the executive committee session. “NAMA plays a key role in educating our staff, providing leadership development and the networking opportunities that have grown our business and given us life-long friendships. It is especially gratifying to be part of setting the direction for an organization that means so much to everyone in agri-marketing.”

A favorite keynote speaker from the event was Peter Zeihan, a geopolitical strategist who paints an encouraging picture about America’s long-term success in a global economy. Breakout sessions were educational and well attended with topics from video content to multisensory marketing to ag advocacy.

Twenty-eight student teams participated in the student competition with our Northern Prairie team from NDSU taking third place! Congratulations to Jean Johnson, NDSU’s student liaison, who received the Outstanding Professional award. Congratulations to Clinton Lewis with Zoetis, our Agribusiness Leader of the Year, and a special congratulations to Paul Redhage, NAMA Marketer of the Year. Paul was a tireless volunteer and leader in NAMA who recently retired from FMC. NAMA will miss you, Paul!

Paulsen looks forward to the 2015 Fall Conference in Denver, September 22-24, where the theme will be, “Reach New Peaks.” Hope to see you all there!
