Paulsen “Goes Big” at National NAMA Conference

“Go Big” was the theme of this year’s National Agri-Marketing Association annual conference held in Dallas, Texas, April 26-28.

Agency staffers attending the national NAMA convention included Sara Steever, president; Greg Guse, EVP, industry analyst; Kristi Moss, senior media director; Lee Larson, associate media director and Juan Rodriguez, account coordinator.

The three-day conference included the Best of NAMA Awards Celebration, Connection Point trade show, Student Marketing Competition, inspiring keynote speakers, educational breakout sessions and plenty of networking opportunities.

Paulsen President Sara Steever serves on the NAMA Executive Committee and participated in the program planning for the 2017 conference.

“This year’s conference had plenty to offer everyone in the agri-marketing industry,” said Sara. “We made a concerted effort to offer education, inspiration, recognition and the opportunity for our membership to build relationships through networking events scheduled during the conference. It was a very, very busy three days for all who attended.”

Lee Larson said he enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with many industry representatives who had innovative new approaches to reaching ag producers with information.

“These are indeed exciting times in agricultural media,” said Lee. “I was very impressed with new approaches to applying data and digital marketing tactics to more efficiently reach producers with our clients’ messages. Lots of cool new things coming our way.”

Paulsen client Scale-Tec, based in Anamosa, Iowa, was recognized during the Best of NAMA Celebration with a Merit Award for a mobile app developed by the agency.
