Scale-Tec Web App Launches

March 7, 2016

Paulsen client Scale-Tec, which provides and services agricultural scales nationwide, recently launched a web app to show how accuracy saves costs.

Created by Paulsen, the app allows growers to calculate how much small errors cost in the areas of seeding, fertilizer application and yield monitoring.

For example, a four percent seeding cost error on 500 acres at $113.00 per acre totals $2,260.00.

“Our focus has been educating growers on the fact that accuracy powers profitability,” said Nick Von Muenster, Scale-Tec operations manager.

“The new app demonstrates exactly how much growers stand to lose or gain,” he said.

The app also includes scale calibration and troubleshooting guides.

Account Specialist Allyse Thaler is excited about the app’s potential. “This is an important tool for growers and for dealers, especially in today’s economic climate.”

Thaler noted that creating apps for the web and for mobile has become a specialty of Paulsen’s. At the Region III Best of NAMA Awards, Paulsen claimed all the smartphone apps category awards.
