Landus Cooperative

Creating an identity for a new cooperative.

When two Iowa farmer-owned cooperatives proposed a unification, Paulsen was asked to help with communication strategy and materials. The management team and the farmer-elected board of directors for each organization performed due diligence and studied the potential unification in great depth.

Ultimately, the vote for unification was affirmative. That’s when Paulsen helped establish the identity of the newly formed cooperative.

In conjunction with the marketing departments, management teams and board members of both cooperatives, we developed a range of distinctive naming options.

The name Landus Cooperative was selected. Paulsen worked with the team to create a compelling brand identity and logo.

Paulsen created a website, banners, field signs, promotional items and more as Landus Cooperative introduced its brand to the market.
