AgOutlook Conference Focuses on Future

The South Dakota Soybean Association’s 13th annual AgOutlook Conference and Trade Show, held December 7 in Sioux Falls, S.D., focused on how South Dakota soybean growers are shaping the future of farming.

The program featured experts who spoke on various topics, including:

  • John Roach, senior market analyst, who discussed grain marketing and marketing strategies for the coming year.
  • Carolyn Thompson, founder of Thompson Law and estate attorney, who gave her recommendations on successful and stress-free ag estate planning.
  • Randy Dowdy, world record holder for corn and soybean bushels per acre who discussed the best practices for producing world record bushels.

In addition to hearing great speakers, those who attended the event enjoyed a free meal, a trade show and the opportunity to connect with other producers in the region.
