Change and resilience were common themes heard in many conversations and presentations at the Central Plains Dairy Expo, held March 26-28, 2019, in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Dairy producers, nutritionists and ag business representatives from across the Midwest gathered to learn, relax, socialize and plan for the upcoming year.

Brittany Lessman, account specialist, attended this year’s event to connect with fellow dairy producers and clients. “The expo was a great break from the harsh winter for many producers.”

In the dairy industry, one thing remains the same and that is change. Fortunately, the industry takes on change with open arms and resilience.

“Dairy producers have had to adapt in unique ways this year to keep their businesses moving forward,” Lessman says. “It was wonderful to see all sectors of the dairy industry engage in new ideas and plan for 2019 success.”

“At Paulsen, we make sure to take in events like the expo to keep up on cutting edge products, technologies and changes in the industry,” she adds. “Knowing more about what producers face every day helps us represent our clients better in the marketplace.”

Next year’s expo will be March 24 – 26, 2020, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
