March 22, 2018

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 Ag Day was celebrated across the U.S. The goal of Ag Day is to raise awareness of the vital contribution agriculture makes in our daily lives.

President Trump signed a proclamation on behalf of Ag Day, which was presented by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue to those attending the national celebration in Washington, D.C. On a local level, Paulsen celebrated the efforts of our farmers and ranchers with an Ag Day breakfast. We are grateful every day for those who labor in agriculture to supply us with a safe, abundant and affordable food supply, but once a year we gather, knowing that our celebration extends across all 50 states and our nation’s Capitol.
