Commodity Classic – Bigger and Better Than Ever

“Farmer Up” was the theme of this year’s Commodity Classic held in San Antonio, Texas, March 2-4.  With numerous educational seminars, expert speakers, a huge trade show and plenty of networking opportunities, this was one of the best and most well-attended Commodity Classics ever.

Commodity Classic is the premier convention and trade show of the American Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Association of Wheat Growers, National Sorghum Producers and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. Over 9,200 producers, exhibitors and industry representatives attended this year’s Classic.

Paulsen staffers Sara Steever, president, and Greg Guse, EVP, industry analyst, represented the agency at the convention.

“Commodity Classic is one of the premier ag conventions and trade shows in the industry,” said Steever. “I was particularly impressed with both the quantity and quality of the educational programs that were offered, giving farmers valuable assistance in how to improve their yields and better manage their operations.”

“I was surprised at the tremendous growth and expansion of the trade show,” Guse added. “With the addition of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the size and scope of the trade show gave producers a firsthand view of everything new in agriculture for the coming season.”

Paulsen clients Kubota Tractor, Copperhead Products, AgSense, South Dakota Soybean Association and South Dakota Corn Growers Association were all represented at this year’s Commodity Classic.
