New South Dakota Corn Campaign Begins

November 10, 2015

Working together, Paulsen and the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council created a new This is Farming campaign which broke this fall.

Designed to educate consumers and leaders in South Dakota, the campaign is the largest ag advocacy effort statewide.

“This year’s messages focus on sustainability, soil health and water management,” said Teddi Mueller, legislative and industry affairs director at South Dakota Corn.

“Research shows that consumers want to know more about how their food is produced.” she said.

“Our goal is to convey the farmers’ perspective on how they have increased sustainability – and how they continue to learn and improve,” she said.

Year after year, growers and consumers alike provide positive feedback on the This is Farming campaigns and previously on the True Environmentalists campaigns.

Tactics include broadcast and cable TV, over a dozen online videos, terrestrial and satellite radio, three-page print spreads, displays, digital media and social media.
