Paulsen Helps South Dakota Corn Growers Rally Against Pruitt

July 10, 2018

When former Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt announced his resignation on July 5, it was a big win for Paulsen client South Dakota Corn Growers Association (SDCGA).

The SDCGA had been working behind the scenes, with assistance from the Paulsen team, to hold Pruitt accountable for lack of action in enforcing the Renewable Fuels Standard as written and making E15 available year-round for consumers.

Pruitt had visited South Dakota on June 13, and the SDCGA engaged Paulsen to assist with creating awareness about Pruitt’s visit. More than 250 SDCGA members and South Dakota farmers attended a rally in Sioux Falls and used social media to share their feelings about E15 and the Trump administration’s support of the agriculture industry.

Seeing our agriculture community come together to support a common cause and present a unified voice was energizing. As always, we are proud to advocate for our clients.
