South Dakota Corn Campaign Educates and Informs

Each year, Paulsen works with South Dakota Corn, a longtime client and key commodity group statewide and nationally, to create a consumer-focused campaign.

Based on bi-annual proprietary research, as well as ongoing industry studies on consumer attitudes, the campaign focuses on building relationships with South Dakota consumers through highlighting shared values.

This year’s campaign theme is The Farmer in You, which shows consumers that farmers and non-farmers are very similar. This helps generate positive feelings towards farmers and farming.

The campaign features TV, radio, social media, native advertising and print. Tactics drive consumers to a campaign website.

Social media has become an increasingly important aspect of the campaign, due to its ability to spark conversations. Paulsen has worked with South Dakota Corn to create a wide variety of content, including articles, infographics, photo galleries, videos and more.
