Global Water Innovations, Inc., Co-Founder and Chief Strategic Officer, and American Agri-Women President Jeanette Lombardo had a 24-year career in corporate banking before becoming more deeply involved in the ag sector through government appointments and advocacy group leadership. She discusses her career and farm background with Sara Steever.

Lombardo grew up in Wiesbaden, Germany, where her father served in the U.S. Air Force. Eventually they returned home to a family dairy and potato farm near Erie, Penn. After graduating from Edinboro University, Lombardo lived in a number of U.S. cities, finally settling in California. As chief strategic officer for Global Water Innovations, Inc., she is responsible for developing, communicating, executing and sustaining global strategy along with domestic and international expansion. She is also president of American Agri-Women, a 52-chapter advocacy organization with more than 50,000 members nationwide. Lombardo’s background includes several federal and state appointments and 24 years of corporate banking/ag lending experience.
