Who benefits from PR/media relations? Most companies and organizations can benefit from getting their names out in the right spaces. Having one of your employees quoted as an ag industry expert positions your company as a leader.
Why is PR so valuable? PR efforts increase your organization’s transparency and credibility while establishing your employees as ag industry thought leaders. Done correctly, PR builds trust with current and potential customers, stakeholders, employees and the general public. An Edelman study found that 82 percent of respondents agreed that, “thought leadership has increased their trust in a vendor organization.” That trust is invaluable to a brand’s public perception—and can influence whether or not customers want to patronize your business.
When is the best time to start PR and/or media relations efforts? If you aren’t already utilizing PR and/or media relations tactics as part of your overall marketing strategy, it’s never too late to start! If you aren’t part of the conversation in the industry, you’re not maximizing opportunities to grow.
